Welsh Shooting actively promotes our duty of care to safeguard the safety and welfare of everyone that is part of our shooting community. We are fully committed to developing and monitoring robust policies and procedures that minimise the risk of anyone experiencing abuse within the sport setting.
It is Welsh Shooting’s vision to ensure that everyone has a positive, enjoyable and beneficial experience, in safe and nurturing environments whether taking part, supporting or running shooting events.
Welsh Shooting recognises that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and expects all staff, contractors and volunteers to be fully committed to promoting and implementing Welsh Shooting Safeguarding Policies and Procedures throughout the sport and welcomes feedback from all stakeholders.
Our Governance and Safeguarding Manager, Kerry Skidmore, is on-hand to offer advice and guidance on all safeguarding matters – please do reach out if you have any questions or need any support.
