Welsh Team And Individual Successes In Jersey

The annual Jersey Open fullbore rifle competition was recently held using new electronic targets, and a Welsh team of four travelled to compete at 200, 500, and 600 yards.

The Welsh team included national coach Martin Watkins and Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games silver medallist Chris Watson. Henryk Golaszewski and John Evans completed the team which beat the hosts on their home range by a single point, 410 to 409. The team and end scoreboard can be seen in the photo below.

Henryk was the top shooter of the day, shown in the photo below. Congratulations to Henryk and the rest of the Welsh team on their performance.
