British Shooting have announced the Shotgun and Pistol athletes who have been selected to represent GBR at the Junior World Championships 2024 in Lima, Peru.
Within Wales, we have been lucky to have two athletes who have been selected. Robert Lewis will represent GB in the Junior Mens Olympic trap shotgun and Lucy Banner will represent GB in the 10m Air Pistol Junior Women.
When speaking to both athletes on their selection:
“Lucy said that when British Shooting contacted me to say I’d been selected to represent Great Britain at the Junior World Championships in Lima, Peru. I was excited and a little nervous as this is the highest level competition that I have been selected for. I’m really looking forward to the challenge though and also being part of the junior team in Lima.”
“Rob said he was thrilled to have been selected for the Junior world championship, it is a great honour to be representing GB. I am looking forward to my first time shooting abroad, Peru will be a fantastic experience.”

The Junior World Championships will commence on 26 September until 6 October.
