The New Talent Supporting Target Shooting in Wales

Over the last few months the WTSF has recruited talented new people to both the staff and board. They have joined the organisation in a variety of paid and voluntary roles, and their skills and experience are having a real impact on how the WTSF functions and implements the new strategic plan for target shooting in Wales. The WTSF wants to thank and celebrate these people for their ongoing contributions to target shooting in Wales.

Who are they and what are they doing for Welsh target shooting?

 

Jatin Patel – Finance Director

Jatin joined the WTSF in 2020 as the new Finance Director taking over from Paul Donovan who soundly ran the WTSF’s finances for many years. Jatin brings many years of experience from the international finance world to his role with the WTSF, improving how the organisations manages money and risks.

John Harris – Strategic Management Adviser

John joined the WTSF following 9 years as Chair of British Shooting that culminated in the Spirit of High-Performance Award. He was unanimously voted onto the WTSF board in November 2020 as a Strategic Management Adviser. John brings his expertise in organisational management and experience developing a national shooting body at a key time for the WTSF following the launch of the new strategic plan in Spring 2020.

David Lloyd – Bookkeeper

David joined the WTSF in September 2020 and brought his many years of financial management from both the public and private sector. On top of managing the day-to-day finances, David is reviewing and improving internal business processes and works closely with Jatin to better manage financial risks.
