Welsh Athletes Selected for Great Britain for ISSF World Tour

Welsh Shooting would like to extend our congratulations to Emily Shawyer and Nathaniel Salvatore on their selection to represent Great Britain at the upcoming ISSF World Tour in Haibach, Germany and to Robert Shawyer selected as Coach and Team Leader.

• Emily Shawyer and Nathaniel have both earned their places through consistent performances and dedication to their disciplines. Nathaniel currently ranked number 1 in GB – Junior Men, and Emily ranked number 1 in GB – Women.
• Day 1 in Germany and Emily and Nathaniel will be competing in their Women and Junior Men, respective classes. Day 2 and Emily will pair up with Oliver Silvester of England, and Nathaniel with Erin from England to make the Mixed Pairs events.
• The ISSF World Tour, taking place in July 2025, gathers the world’s best shooters and serves as the second international event in the series of 4 this year, to culminate in Cairo at the ISSF Rifle, Pistol, Shotgun and Target Sprint World Championships. The event in Germany is expected to showcase the very best of this sport, following on from the first event in Auer, Italy held earlier this year in May.

We are immensely proud to see Welsh athletes competing at this level and flying the flag for Wales as part of the GB team. Their achievements are a testament to the strength and commitment.
