Coronavirus Update – 3rd December

Travel Now Allowed Between Wales And England In Tier 1 Or 2

Announced this morning, the Welsh Government have confirmed that travel between Wales and English counties or regions classified as tier 1 or 2 in the English system is now allowed. Travel was previously restricted to essential only, and excluded exercise or sport.

For Welsh and English target shooters living near the border this is most welcome news as many members need to cross the border to reach their local club. The BBC have a handy postcode checker to view the tiers for each area. The WTSF strongly recommends that Welsh target shooters looking to train in England ensure that their club is in a tier 1 or 2 area. Similarly, English shooters should check the tier covering their area and not travel in to Wales from a tier 3 area.
