Congratulations to Welsh Athletes Selected for GB Team

The Welsh Target Shooting Federation would like to extend our congratulations to Mike Wixey, Ben Llewellin, and Robert Lewis on their selection to represent Great Britain at the upcoming ISSF World Cup in Lonato, Italy and the European Shotgun Championships in Châteauroux, France.

• Mike Wixey (Olympic Trap), Ben Llewellin (Skeet), and Robert Lewis (Olympic Trap) have all earned their places through consistent performances and dedication to their disciplines.

• The ISSF World Cup, taking place in June 2025, gathers the world’s best shooters and serves as a major milestone on the international calendar, while the The European Championships, scheduled for July 2025, key competition on the road to future Olympic qualification and a showcase of Europe’s top shooting talent.

We are immensely proud to see Welsh athletes competing at this level and flying the flag for Wales as part of the GB team. Their achievements are a testament to the strength and depth of target shooting in Wales.
