For those of you that I have not yet met, my name is Kerry Skidmore and I am the new Governance and Safeguarding Manager here at Welsh Shooting. This newsletter is designed to share updates about key events, resources, and tips to help keep everyone safe and supported. The NSPCC are running a free hour-long training session for anyone involved in the Shooting community in Wales on
Monday 24th November 2025 6-7pm.
The Listen up, Speak up training will – help you understand how to listen and speak up on behalf of children, show you who to contact if you’re concerned about a child or need support yourself and empower you to support children in your community.
If you suspect, or have witnessed a safeguarding concern, you can let us know by filling in the relevant form below. If you are unsure of which form is relevant – fill in the Safeguarding Concern and we will take it from there.

This year’s Keeping Your Child Safe in SportCampaign runs 6-12 October 2025, and the NSPCC are asking sports parents to play their part and talk to their children about how they can bring out their best through positive actions and support.
You can support this year’s campaign by posting on social media, displaying posters or raising awareness in your Association or Club by talking to parents directly. You can access all the resources you need by clicking on the image and visiting the NSPCC website.
