The WTSF are pleased to announce that Seren Thorne, has been awarded the prestigious British Shooting Rifle Pathway Athlete of the Year Award for 2024.
Seren, who has been making waves on the national and international shooting circuit, was honoured for her exceptional achievements, dedication, and development within the sport. The award recognises athletes on the pathway to becoming elite rifle shooters, highlighting not only their skill but also their commitment to training and progress.
Having recently showcased her talent in various competitions, Seren’s performance this year has been nothing short of outstanding. Her meticulous attention to detail, work ethic, and ability to perform under pressure have set her apart from her peers, earning her this well-deserved recognition.
Seren said “I was honoured to get nominated at all, so to win the award is very motivating. I am very grateful for the team I have around me at the moment and would not have the award without their help. I hope to continue my hard work this year, and continue to progress as I navigate through now being a senior”.
