To support the Development and Events Manager in achieving the strategic objectives of the WTSF, generating new strategic partnerships and nurturing effective working relationships with external partners. To run promotional and development events on behalf of the WTSF and to ensure the WTSF has an up-to-date and relevant presence on the internet and through social media.
For the past 10 years, Gavin has served in the fire service, consistently demonstrating leadership, teamwork, and a strong sense of community. Prior to that, Gavin spent 6 years with Cricket Wales as a Cricket Development Officer, supporting the growth of the sport at the grassroots level across the country.
In their current role as National Development Officer at WTSF, Gavin brings together a background in community service and a passion for sport development. His work focuses on club development, managing grant funding, and leading digital platforms, including social media and the website.
Gavin holds a Master’s degree in Sport Media and Broadcast, which supports his ability to create engaging content and share meaningful stories from across the sporting community.
