The countdown has reached 1000 days to the next edition of the Commonwealth Games to be held in Australia at Gippsland, Victoria.
The shooting events will be held at a new venue and will comprise of three disciplines. Air Rifle, Air Pistol and Olympic Trap with Paralympic disciplines being introduced for the first time.
Performance Director, John Dallimore said “Victoria 2026 is eagerly awaited by the WTSF after missing out on Birmingham 2022 following the success of the shooting athletes winning five medals at the Gold Coast in 2018. 1000 days is only a short lead in but from past experience, I know that our athletes will be ready to perform to their best.”
