Range Warden

David has been involved in the sport of Shooting, seemingly all his life competing in Air rifle, Small-bore 3 position and Small-bore prone Rifle. He has had the Honour to represent Great Britain Internationally up to World Championship level and has represented Wales at 5 commonwealth Games from 2002 to 2018. Success came to him in Melbourne 2006, where he won a Pairs Bronze medal and Individual Gold. David was able to repeat that Golden performance at the Gold Coast in 2018. David have now retired as an Athlete to focus on Coaching and supporting the next generations of aspiring Athletes. He is also the range warden at Sophia Gardens. 

The Range Warden is responsible for:

• Range Safety Management
• Range Maintenance
• Ensuring the range complies with all relevant regulations and standards
• Event Support
• Training and Supervision to range users.

The Range Warden has a crucial role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.
