British Schools Pistol Championships
Welsh Target Shooting Federation is pleased to announce that the British Schools Pistol Championships 2020/21 will take place, but in a different format to previous years that allows qualification for the National Final whilst adhering to the coronavirus restrictions regulations in Wales.
It’s as simple as sourcing recognised competition targets or printing them from the British Shooting website, shooting locally rather than travelling to the regional qualification and submitting your score and photos of the targets on the British Shooting website. Oh, and paying the £10 entry fee. That’s round 1.
The top 20 in each age category in Wales will then be invited to shoot round 2. The process is the same as round 1 and the winner of each age category will be the Welsh Schools Pistol Champion. The top 2 win a place at the National Final. Oh, and the good news is that there is no additional entry fee for round 2.
The team qualification will be taken from the scores in round 1. The top team in each age category qualifies for the National Final.
The National Final will be a shoulder to shoulder competition in Staffordshire on Tuesday 19th January.
For information and ‘how to enter’ take a look at the British Shooting Schools Pistol webpage.
Round 1 targets need to be shot and the scores entered on the British Shooting webpage by 27th October.
